No — it goes on white but dries completely clear and invisible. The white colour is just the adhesive in its liquid state, and it helps you see exactly where you've applied it and whether your coverage is even. Once cured, it's transparent under the lace, even at the hairline.
With proper application on a clean, prepped scalp, expect a secure hold of around 2–4 weeks before your next maintenance. Actual wear time varies with your skin type, sweat levels, and climate — oily skin and high humidity shorten it, using a scalp protector underneath extends it.
Thin layers are everything. Apply a thin coat to a clean, dry, protected scalp, let it go tacky (turning from white to clear is your visual cue), then repeat — most wearers use 2–3 thin layers. Press the lace into the final tacky layer and hold firm for a minute or so. One thick layer holds worse than three thin ones and takes far longer to cure.
Yes — once fully cured it's water- and sweat-resistant, so workouts, showers, and swimming are fine. Give it 24 hours after application before soaking the bond line, and pat your hairline dry rather than rubbing.
It's formulated for direct skin wear, though we always recommend a 24-hour patch test on your inner forearm before first use if you're new to lace adhesives. For removal, never pull the system off dry — use a dedicated glue remover around the bond line, let it break the adhesive down, and lift gently. Follow with a scalp scrub to clear any residue before your next application.
